Privacy Policy — White Dossier

White Dossier ("the app") is developed by Duskwing Studios ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what data the app collects and how it's used.

The short version

Everything you enter into White Dossier — your stamped countries and states, trip notes, photos, travel companions, and bookmarks — is stored locally on your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no server storing your travel content.

The only data that leaves your device is limited technical information required for advertising (via Google AdMob) and processing purchases (via Apple's App Store), described below.

Your Passport bio and profile photo

Data collected by third-party services we use

Advertising (Google AdMob)
White Dossier shows ads to free-tier users via Google AdMob, which may collect device/advertising identifiers, general ad-interaction data, and approximate (non-GPS) location for ad relevance. If you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, this may be used for more relevant ads; if you decline, you'll still see ads, just not personalized. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Purchases (Apple App Store)
If you purchase "Remove Ads" (one-time or subscription), Apple processes the transaction directly. We receive confirmation a valid purchase was made — no payment details ever pass through us.

What we don't do

We don't have servers storing your personal content
We don't sell your data
We don't require an account, email, or sign-in to use the app

Your choices

Decline App Tracking Transparency at any time; the app stays fully functional
Remove ads entirely via an in-app purchase, which also stops all ad-related data collection going forward
Deleting the app deletes your data — there's no account for us to separately delete anything from

Children

White Dossier is suitable for a general audience and contains no mature content.

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
